This is one of the reasons that I didn't mind Mill and Main being just low rise buildings, because the streets ramp up and taller development could be put up near University creating a really cool dense looking river front. Some cities just have a wall right there on the river and you can't see past the first row of buildings. I think I'll have to go drive 35w tonight just to see, thanks for the tip! This is visible from 35W now, which I wasn't expecting. It is taller than Mill & Main- the top floor or two may actually have some river views.
I think you're thinking of Stonebridge... Stone Arch 2 is the project that is going up behind Mill and Main on the East Bank... It just has about one floor above Mill and Main right now.You can see some of the glass siding from the stone arch bridge now. I'm really impressed by the presence this project has, particularly from the bridge.
I don't know. I think this turned out pretty decent personally. They did a much better job on the masonry than its neighbor. This probably looks less good than people were hoping.
I thought this too..? Anybody know the facts here?Isn't cement board supposed to be limited to 30% of a building's surface?
