No problems with the quality. I just wished it had more of a reflective quality to it. As per their presentations and like the designs seen at Lakeshore East i.e. The Lancaster and The Chandler.
It has a more reflective surface depending on light conditions and time of day. This is true with all glass buildings. When its finished , I don't think you will be disappointed. :)

Tower crane appears to have begun dismantling itself.

The problem with being an introvert online is that no one knows you're just hanging out and listening.

Seems odd considering the windows and crown aren't completed ... is this possible?

Maybe they're sending everything up the elevators instead?

6 floors left to get windows and then the other finishes need to get completed. Looking very nice for sure.

LPM Apartments are sure to be an instant classic. Hope this fills quickly and the Chicago investors will act rapidly and build more downtown towers in the core or along Washington Avenue.

It's no secret Magellan is interested in further development opportunities here.

The horizontal-ribbed brown cladding is going up quick now on the SW corner - it almost looks totally opaque to me, but I thought it was supposed to be semi-see-through? I like how high the first floor windows are, as you barely notice the parking above when one foot.

It would be nice to have one of their buildings in the core. 50 plus stories would be nice.

I think Magellan would be a great developer to redevelop some of the remaining vacant lots in Loring . They have a long history of good rapport with the neighborhood association and Lisa Goodman. They are receptive to community feedback and their expertise is building housing in a highly dense urban setting. They are an excellent match for the area.

I hope this one

is near the top of the list, if so.

That site with it's slope will be a very interesting challenge. But with that slope hopefully they can get all of their parking underground

Loring VUE did a pretty good job with I believe an even larger topographical variation. This must be smaller, though. That building on the right just looks so awkward from Spruce with its unfinished side and huge slab of pavement. The lot here charges something like 200/mo. for a single spot and is almost never full.

Sorry, this is getting a bit off topic. Crane is indeed taking itself down and cladding still going up on ramp. The metal substrate appears to cover most if not all remaining portions of the ramp, but frosted glass has not proceeded further yet. It really seems like windows have slowed down near the top of the building. I'm curious if measurements or fitment become more painstaking up high? Crown is also coming along.

Any thoughts as to when the crown might be started/finished?

Most all of the glass is up on the ramp facing LaSalle. Interesting because it isn't frosted, it's clear. With the right lighting this might actually animate the street beautifully.
