Every time I go past the Oak St ramp I think it would be good to have a building like the Rampton proposal built on the wasted lawn space in front of the ramp on the Oak St side. Other side is hopeless. That last image makes me hope the Oak Street ramp can go away or at least be shrunk down a bit, opening up Delaware Street to be at least a little more continuous.

Does anybody have insight into the old Bruce print shop that used to sit on 27th Avenue between University and Fourth Street? It's all boarded up and looks like it might be demolished.

If it's the location that I'm thinking of, there was some talk of turning into a charter school or something along those lines.

F&C put up an article about the site in February:

Bruce Printing closed in 2012. For a while, CSL Plasma was going to move in there (because their building was sold for the WaHu development), but that fell through and they moved down to Lake Street instead. Venture Academy currently uses part of the building. NHH Properties of Edina bought the building in February. As far as I could tell when article originally came out, they were just planning to try to lease leftover space in the building rather than make major changes or build something new.

"Metro Park East- Tomorrow's very affordable housing"
I was hoping the siding would even out the proportions, but no, those windows are still tiny.

Q. What, what? A. In da butt.

I thought there was a general Prospect Park thread somewhere, but I'm not seeing it. Anyway, Marlys went to Prospect Park (apparently for the first time?) and did a story. I thought it was curious that she made a point to note the various projects that haven't yet started but didn't mention this project, Metro Park East.

Didn't get anything from the front side of this, unfortunately.
