Chinese food downtown
Chinese food downtown
Anyone know of any good Chinese food places open for lunch in the skyway...or on the street now that it's warm out? I've never really been able to find a consistently good place.

The short answer is no.
The best among them is probably the Skyway Wok in the Baker Block. It's not great, though.
(This is probably a topic for the downtown restaurant thread)

Not to get all meta, but I'd argue it belongs here -- the Downtown Restaurant thread should really be for discussing new / changing / closing restaurants, not opinions on who likes what food.

Why eat Chinese when you can eat bento at Zenbox?

I like Tea House in the recently redone food court at 330 South 2nd Ave.

Not Chinese food, but I highly recommend checking out Bep Vietnamese for lunch in the 5th street towers. Opened up late last year and the service and food is always outstanding. My go to place for Asian food since there aren't many good skyway options.

After 2:00 you can get rolls for $2 each, and yes they're filling.

I like "So Good Asian" in US Bank Plaza better than Skyway Wok, even though I think it's a bit more expensive.

Asian Express in the skyway of US Bank Center in downtown St Paul.
Skyway Wok - but the location on 2nd and Washington (Baker gets too busy) in downtown Minneapolis.
