Maybe this the opposite of stress relief, but it is funny from a "this hurts my head, we're doomed".

The version of that I've seen did not have the cuts to Gimli having heard enough. They make it about 1.6 times better.

A Metro Transit spokesman said the agency loves that a dog appreciates public transit.

I do like how Seattle transit allows dogs on buses and trains if they pay a normal fair:

I wish Metro Transit would implement something like this.

True. I would totally take my dogs on the bus to bring them on a nice walk along the river. As it stands now one has to put them in a carrier, defeats the purpose in my opinion. I'm sure Metro Transit has their reasons.

As somebody who doesn't love dogs, I'm quite happy with the current situation.

Not all dogs are well-behaved, and in my experience, nobody's dog is as cute or mellow as their owners think they are.

Makes me think of Moscow's subway-riding stray dogs.

And some owners aren't as great as they think they are.

I found dog tracks through my backyard this morning and I know exactly who let their dog run free. It's the same guy I hear in his backyard shouting at the dog as it growls and tries to take away a cloth or bone or whatever the hell he's holding in his hand. Sounds like dogfighting training or something. Dick.

And for the record, I also found cat tracks and those owners are just as irresponsible. Outdoor cats have poorer health and letting one run around a city is just incomprehensible to me. One time a cat ran across 35W right in front of me.

Clearly you have never had a dog. Playing tug of war is something dogs love... It's playful, not aggressive. You can hear the difference in tone too between a playful growl and a serious growl.

I actually wasn't as concerned about the dog as the sounds the *man* was making.

And it's a total dick move to allow your dog to run around off the leash. In fact it's illegal.

It freaks me out how many idiot people let their dogs go off-leash; as a runner, I of course don't know which ones are well trained and which aren't, but they're all threats until they demonstrate otherwise. And no matter how good their dog is, if I or somebody else does something stupid and the dog responds by biting, the dog's probably going to be euthanized. You'd think people who love their dogs would understand that they want to keep their dogs on leash, as much to protect the dog as to protect others.
