Wasn't the bird-safe glass only supposed to be $1 million? (I say only in the context of the new $14 million addition of TVs.)

Without a bridge, the average wait time to cross the LRT tracks would be 14 to 16 minutes and pedestrians would have to wait through six passing trains.
I hope the full article points out that that "average wait time" would apply for about an two-hour-long period on 8-10 occasions per year. I'm sure it doesn't, though.

Isn't that about how long it takes to board a train anyway after a game?

In my (limited) experience, yes. The limiting factor is how many people you can fit onto each train, not how many people can get across the tracks between trains.

We're finally approaching the news conference for the new #Vikings stadium naming rights. Word is mid-June. Reported to be U.S. Bank.

I look forward to both USBank and Wells Fargo dueling over park funding.

It appears that the remainder of the main roof truss will be completed a beam at a time, unlike the large sections that had been put in place in the past. The first beam was put up about an hour ago.

Yesterday was the concrete topping off event. My dad works on the stadium and came home with a pretty cool shirt actually. They'll still pour some concrete for the portions within the stadium, but as far as the outer bowl is concerened, they're all done pouring! Pretty big milestone.

I understand that the last pieces of the main truss were to go in the afternoon before, but they have 1/2" clearance and they needed the pieces to cool and shrink, so they waited for morning. Crazy.

Finally. The Stadium will be named U.S. Bank Stadium

U.S. Bank is paying $220 million over 25 years for naming rights to the new Minnesota Vikings stadium set to open next summer.
