I always honk on behalf of bikers when I pass a double parked car.

Once Moto-i rooftop deck is open I think that woukld be a great and interesting place for a Happy Hour. By then there should be 4 buildings close by going up and we should be able to see the Magellan building breaking into the skyline.. Yes they do cocktails and beer besides Sake!

ROTFL We talk about skyscrapers and are always looking up. Looking up can be a good thing in the Uptown area too!! Celebrated my birthday last summer up there. Great food and excellent Sake.

Hey all,
Let's do a May 30th Happy Hour...the 31st will be the one year anniversary of the forum. Any ideas where we should go? Twincitizen had recommended Darby's a while back. North Loop could be fun. I also think it'd be cool to do some sort of trivia if people were interested in that.

Went with moto-i, wanted a roof top, North Loop/Downtown will be too busy with Twins stuff that night, etc. Please actually RSVP so I know what the headcount will be, it will be busy! I made a reservation for 12-15, which is what we had last time. Compared to, say, the Bulldog in St. Paul, there's a decent chance I will actually know random people at the restaurant, so please don't make me wait by myself at a huge table too long like a weirdo

Hey folks, this is a week out, so just reminding you to please have an accurate RSVP within a couple days of the event so I can let the restaurant know how much space we need.

Last reminder: Happy Hour this Thursday! I'm going to sticky it so it's visible around the forum. Facebook has 22 RSVPs but that seems a little high, I'll probably up our reservation to 18 from 13.

If my experience on Facebook has taught me anything, when someone RSVPs to an event, they are
for sure going to show up.
I'll be working during this one, as usual...

And I'll be in Cleveland, but drink one for me (I drink beer -- stouts and IPAs)!

For future Happy Hours, the Acadia Cafe in Cedar-Riverside has trivia on Tuesday nights, as well as a 'Kill-the-cask' deal. $3 for (typicaly) local cask specialty pours. That starts at 7.

Also, quick note, that was actually happy hour number four...somehow I totally forgot about the Northbound Brewpub one. So, next happy hour will be number five.

Wife had something going on so I wasn't able to make it, as I don't think a 2-year old would have fun at moto-i. Hope to make it out again sometime.
