Well, now my run to campus for lunch got even better. Not only do I get a buffalo chicken burrito from Burrito Loco, but I get to see this new crane as I enter campus.

Drove by this today. The crain really lets you see how much of an impact this is going to have on this side of the river. Will be really cool to see this completed. Is this going to be 11 stories tall? Am I right with that? Or am I thinking WaHu?

I believe that both this and WaHu are slated to be 11 stories tall. Maybe 11 will be the new 6.

Looks like most (if not all) of the basement-level vertical supports are done, and they've started constructing the forms to pour for the first floor.

I was surprised to see workers there all day Saturday. They must have a tight schedule.

I suppose they probably do. This will be opening the same time as the Sally's project, starting this week, and is much larger, but they only got a three-month head start. And I'd expect concrete construction to take longer than stick, right?

Most definitely concrete is longer and it being twice as tall too as you noted. They got to get this sucker up fast

First two floors are in. They're currently pouring the supports for the third.

Does anyone know if this is going to have above ground parking? There appears to be a giant ramp on the west side, near the off-ramp, going from the ground floor to the first floor.

I think it's two levels of parking, one above and one below.

They're at 5 floors as of today.

Was surprise by the old layout of this building. Seem more parallelogram than a rectangle. Will be interesting to see once the walls start going up.
