Re: Red 20 - (20 6th Street Northeast, former Totino's site)
The siding has started to go up on this; I walked past it today, but didn't manage to get a picture. I'll try to get one next time I do, but if you're waiting: it looks cheap.
Re: Red 20 - (20 6th Street Northeast, former Totino's site)
They've been doing the siding on the inside portions of the building for a couple of weeks now (well, at least two). It definitely isn't as great as it could be, but I suppose I'll hold my final judgment until they're finished.

EH, judge it now. Even the renderings looked cheap.
Q. What, what? A. In da butt.

Complain early, complain often. That's the UrbanMSP way!

Spoke cards or commemorative GoTo passes only, sorry.

I love the step look from this angle. I'm sure the other buildings on the block will get torn down at some point, but I think the current setup makes this project look better than it actually is.
Re: Red 20 - (20 6th Street Northeast, former Totino's site)
That's not likely (fortunately). Maybe the Conga building (an old building that lost its upper floors in a fire), but not the others. They are all very nice historic buildings that have been restored and renovated in recent years.I'm sure the other buildings on the block will get torn down at some point

Uhhhh... I think all of the reddish color on the renderings is cement board. This thing was like 80% cement board last time I passed by. It's hideous.

I drive by it every day for work. Its stucco or a stucco like product not fiber cement.
Re: Red 20 - (20 6th Street Northeast, former Totino's site)
yeah I think it's synthetic stucco
Re: Red 20 - (20 6th Street Northeast, former Totino's site)
Probably the same stuff that they used on the first phase of the Elan in Uptown.yeah I think it's synthetic stucco
Re: Red 20 - (20 6th Street Northeast, former Totino's site)
I live right around this and drive or bus by it every day. It definitely is not pretty. It's fine for infill, but it just looks cheap.

Hard to charge top rates when you building looks bottom rate. Anyone know what they are charging for rents in here.

Ahaha what a piece of junk website. Let's upload super detailed floor plans, but only in thumbnail size!
