Yeah the fact that I always have to re-log in to get to my purchased tickets is extremely annoying.

Yea, but it's good for security reasons. You don't want anybody logging in your account to purchase more tickets for you, as that could be very dangerous.

If you have a code or a fingerprint on your phone that's no problem.

Finally had success using the app. Had to uninstall the app and reinstall it before I could activate a stored ticket. I hope these issues get fixed quickly. This is definitely not something an infrequent rider is going to want to deal with.

The 62 now basically fits the criteria for the high frequency network, but isn't included. It's probably because it is a fairly small portion of the route, but it seems like they could pretty easily make it high frequency between Downtown and Co Rd B, without too many extra resources. St. Paul's high frequency network is pretty skeletal.
Just recently found out the reason for this. So the 62 does fulfill all the criteria to be added to the Hi-Frequency network. But MT isn't sure if that can be sustained after the grant that funded the 62's increased service runs out in 3 years.

And in case you're curious what that looks like (on a computer at the moment):

That screenshot is from the Maps application on my Mac. Just pulled up Maps on my phone and it's very similar—iOSified, obviously.

Apple Maps directs me to exit the bus a quarter mile from my apartment and walk, rather than ride it to the stop directly across the street. so that's odd.

Do you have an iWatch? Maybe it's a sign you're walking enough.. ?

Is that real time? It doesn't look like real time to me (there's no variance in the spacing between the next three busses time wise, which I would expect if it was real time.)

Metro Transit ridership tops 82.6 million in 2016
For the sixth consecutive year, Metro Transit provided more than 80 million annual rides, reaching the third-highest annual ridership since 1981.

Metro Transit provided more than 82.6 million rides in 2016, averaging 266,916 rides each weekday. Ridership on the METRO Green Line also continued to grow while the region’s first rapid bus line boosted ridership in the corridor it serves.

Annual Ridership:
A Line 829,999
Northstar 711,167

And the A Line figure is only for six and a half months...

Northstar's O&M subsidy could build out all the aBRT lines (though that's more to aBRT's credit than Northstar's... debit.) :(

Am I the only one who's bothered by the fact that they chose to categorize A-Line as a separate service category, but you can't find anything about the "METRO" Red Line? Coz it's run by MVTA, maybe?

Yeah, the Red Line's stats are usually reported by MVTA in their ridership releaes.

I am interested in finding statistics about individual bus routes performance year-over-year. Is there an easy way about going about finding that?
