Mayo Clinic Square
Re: Mayo Clinic Square
I did notice that there is a set of weighted balls in one of the upper windows already, so part of the practice facility must be up and running, unless they are just being stored there for the time being.

I have half a mind to email the reporter and remind her that this is no longer "Block E". I could understand if her report said "Mayo Clinic Square, formerly Block E", but she didn't. Sloppy sloppy sloppy.http://minnesota.cbslocal.com/2014/10/0 ... nneapolis/

Re: Mayo Clinic Square
It's not nearly as bad as the ESPN reporter thinking TCF bank was the "new vikings stadium" where they will play the super bowl in 2018

The references were fairly innocuous, though yes, it should have actually referenced its current name.I have half a mind to email the reporter and remind her that this is no longer "Block E". That said, never expect much from a TV station's news writing. It's truly the bottom of the barrel. They care more about their network segments and online video.
Re: Mayo Clinic Square
I'm sure Alatus would have preferred that the new name was at least mentioned as they are investing Millions into rebranding and remaking this block to be much better. Time will tell if there will now be more activity on the upper floors than the street and skyway levels which was the opposite case before.

Alatus would really prefer if you'd use their press release on the project verbatim. Alas, that's not the job of the press.I'm sure Alatus would have preferred that the new name was at least mentioned as they are investing Millions into rebranding and remaking this block to be much better. Until there is something other than Jimmy John's, Kerian's and Starbuck's for tenants. A press release is not really going to help them too much. Have there been any RUMORS as to possible tenants to fill the empty spaces yet??? LOLAlatus would really prefer if you'd use their press release on the project verbatim. I expect nothing less from BSPN these days. It's not nearly as bad as the ESPN reporter thinking TCF bank was the "new vikings stadium" where they will play the super bowl in 2018

My thoughts too. This building will just be a different flavor of turd, when it is all said and done.Boy, it's still pretty hulking isn't it?

Lost a lot of the cool shapes and interesting features. Annoying but typical.

Re: Mayo Clinic Square
They're completely reskinning the outside shell of the complex with new materials and that phase of construction hasn't even begun yet. Most of the work so far on the outside has been the removal of the previous façade materials and some prep work to the walls. How can anyone make an opinion about the new exterior facade at this point ? ![Confused :?](./images/smilies/icon_e_confused.gif)
