Also gotta say that I'm so excited for this. I love vodka, Eastern European food, and communism themed restaurants.
Will definitely go for the food. Hope it at least approaches Moscow on the Hill.

Luce is always good. I quite like Uptown Pizza's slices, but miss the $2 slices. Slice of New York is gross. What I'm really hoping for is that Hello Pizza takes off and opens a few locations closer to the action. It's a slice spot on 44th and France run by the owners of Pizzeria Lola.

Green Mill and Leaning Tower are by the slice after 10pm. GM is $2.

I am really excited for this. Uptown needs a good Mexican restaurant and it is a cuisine I think you could pull off in that space. Also that patio is a great place to sit, drink and people watch. I was always surprised that Birdhouse didn't try harder to work that angle, the after 9pm drinks and nosh component is an important part of making that space work financially.

Heidi's is closing at the end of the year. Probably a good time for the City to acquire that piece of 29th Street, no?

Looks like the Running Room will be moving into some new digs. Not sure of the address or if they are doing a clearance at the 27th and Hennepin location yet. I did not see clearance signs. Not quite sure what the location is for the new store as I did not pay that much attention to that while on my walk. But does look like they will down size their square footage to better suit their needs. This will leave open a nice building that will have decent square footage. Let's hope it is not another furniture store!!

Ok That would be about right. Knew it was along Lake but forgot if it was east or west of Hennepin. Thanks for that info!

Saw a new store on Hennepin called G spot which will be catering to the GBLT community. Also see that there is a new coffeehouse/store going in further south on Hennepin that will have a possible leather theme. Will take a closer look the next time I'm traveling on Hennepin. Both are in vacant spots and this is not part of new developments. Will try and get addresses when I can.

Well, actually it's the G-lbt Spot. A new sex store where Area420 was located. It adjacent to Via's Vintage on the 2400 block of Hennepin Avenue.

Anyone heard anything on the retail project for the Suburban World Theater? Been off the radar for awhile.
