Even if I myself could take the bus to work everyday and sold my car, I'd still want at least one off-street space available for a significant other, guests, etc. If I'm going to go through the trouble/expense of owning a SF home, I'd like to have a parking space. There's literally no opportunity to do that on this lot. Plus you have to deal with the parking crunch from the Karmel Somali mall nearby.

Neat, If I had 170,000 I'd buy it! haha. I'd put in a nice concrete post and make a moped parking space on the side or backyard. ...though in reality, I wouldn't want to live so close to the largest somali mall in the country. So i'd also say not enough car parking

I like 222 Hennepin, even more than I like the Brunsfield Apartments on Washington.

The last two Twins games I went to, I drove there...and parked for free in my super secret parking space. I'll never tell.

Hint: they are shown as metered parking on Minneapolis' parking meter map, but there are not actually meters there, because the curb lane is used for other purposes at certain times of the day.

I think the cities should allow branding on downtown buildings.

I would never buy/rent an apartment without heated indoor parking, even If I lived in the downtown core. Still needs me IKEA runs.

I don't like the idea of apodments / micro-units with shared kitchens. Perhaps as a type of supportive housing deal, but either way, think they should be heavily regulated. Poorly operated and I think you got some serious trouble for both residents and neighbors. Don't say that in certain urbanist groups though...

You probably wouldn't if you'd ever been inside one.

Maybe this goes somewhere else, but here's the place my wife and I stayed in for a while in London http://www.vrbo.com/373952 . It was 300-350 sqft, max (maybe we should all agree on a definition of what a micro apartment is, size/amenity-wise vs a boarding house unit). I could easily see one person living there very comfortably, a couple would be a stretch. But I think they have a place in some US cities and many European ones.

I do too. It makes navigation easier in areas with no landmarks other than office towers. You can say "by the _______ building to people who haven't memorized the names of all the buildings downtown.
