I'm here. Six tables in the back corner away from the street. It's warm.

Would somebody please buy this house and then host the next UrbanMSP happy hour? Thanks in advance.

We could always just return to his club, with a similar aesthetic, the Aster.

It seems like we're doing these things bi-monthly, so the next one would be late March.

Downtown East? Thursday 3/20 or 3/27?

3/27. Haven't they been quarterly? That seems more appropriate than bimonthly. IMO.

If you can wait until early April, I'm back in town 3/31 til at least 4/5.

^^^^I would like to second froggie's early April suggestion if possible. If not, no worries. :)

I'm out during Froggie's suggested dates, but that doesn't mean urbanmsp (Nick) & streets.mn can't still plan something that week.

I was thinking of something beyond a simple happy hour for our next next event. How would people feel about a Green Line pub crawl + Twins game? The Twins game would be optional of course, you could still do the pub crawl part & skip the game. Is that something people here would be interested in? Or should we just stick to simple drinking beer & BS'ing on Thursday nights?

So re: event planning in general, there are a few things cooking. There's a near-term plan for the forum to combine with streets.mn (one of the reasons is that UrbanMSP.com/streets.mn Happy Hour looks silly to me) and there is some event planning along with that. One of my "action items" from the last streets.mn board meeting is to work on a couple different events this spring and summer. Those will be specifically "branded" as streets.mn events but at that point it will all be the same thing. Other than that, here are a few things I had in mind, and we obviously won't do all of them because it's easy to plan too many events.

1.) Blue Line 10 Year Anniversary Bar Hopping (on or about June 26th)
2.) Green Line Opening Bar Hopping (on or about June 14th)
3.) Target Field Station Opening something or other, maybe Twins game (on or about May 17th)
4.) Tailgating the demolition of the Nicollet & 4th ramp (sometime during the summer)
5.) Probably another site tour or something

Any further consideration for a happy hour between 3/31 and 4/5?

I'd be down. Club Jäger gets my vote if we're sticking to downtown bars, since it's the best one there by a long shot. Haven't had Di Noko's yet even after moving to Downtown, but I might hit that up before the HH.

I'll go if my senior design stuff permits, but I won't really know that more than a couple days in advance. I'm sooo ready to graduate.

I say Wednesday 4/2 or Thursday, 4/3, allows us to miss the Friday night crowd.
