Driving by today it looks like the Rad Red has completed it's first level of construction as far as post/beam. Looks awfully narrow for a hotel, but then it might be micro suites for all I know.

I don't recall if we're posting updates on the stadium ramp here or in the stadium thread, but it opened this week.
Comments:
The parking prices do not appear to be posted anywhere. I guess you find out what you owe when you leave.
The lights in the escalator lobby are motion-activated, which is a nice sustainable touch that's probably pointless since all the parking lights and escalators are on continuously.
If the skyway wayfinding signs are to be believed, the ramp is officially named "Stadium Ramp" and the towers are named "Wells Fargo 550" and "Wells Fargo 600". Boooring.

I'd assume it's narrower than your typical hotel because the rooms will only be on one side of the corridor.

Going back to the CoW that Grant posted on May 7th if there are rooms on both sides of the hall corridor. Sorry I'm not tech savvy enough to post the link.

Wonder what they're going to do to with those rooms that look straight into a cement wall? I thought I saw a rendering with some ivy or some form of greenery. Regardless, gonna pretty gloomy in those rooms because They'll get 0 sunlight.

Saw this on the way back from work this morning. Sherman Associates has firmed up their plans a little bit for the site on 3rd & Chicago, across from the new Trader Joe's. They're now calling this the "Stadium Restaurant Site," and they're looking for either a buyer or a partner restaurant to build something like the following example renderings:

The brochure has another rendering facing toward the Stadium, if you're interested. It's the one they're using on the sign on the site: http://www.sherman-associates.com/files ... nal(2).pdf

That is that small parcel that is across the street that they own. Not too large of site, so this is probably the best they can do to get enough out of the land.

Was this where that Moxy hotel was supposed to be?

No, this is that tiny corner parking lot next to the Emanuel building. The Moxy proposal is for the larger raised lot behind it, fronting Waahington

Looking like the Red is going to be stick construction, so you better hope you not in the room under the newlyweds or lovers if you want to get a good nights sleep!! Walking by yesterday it looked like the first level oh stick is 3/4's done.

Strange that there is no Wells Fargo signage on either of the buildings north sides. The apartments next to the towers are finally starting to look nice with the tan brick and some off what I guess are the street level retail space windows now in place.

Per the website for apartments in the Edition fronting the new Wells Fargo building - over $3,000 for a one bedroom. Seems pretty steep for me.

Are they confusing 4th Street with a "poor man's" Central Park West?

I'm curious which building/unit this was. The only $3000+ ones I find are 2 bedrooms. But maybe they've already rented.

There are a few pricey ones in the 511 building (the one in the park), but they have private rooftop patios, which is sorta nice.

Yes, the most expensive 1Bedroom+Den is $2815...but 1 bedroom units start at $1585 and studios in the $1100s

With the addition of all the apts in the last couple yrs, one has to think that these price are a bit high? I believe the demand drives prices up but the amount of renting units has increased dramatically with the additions of 3 towers and several other projects. I guess if I was a developer who could get close to 3000 grand for a two bedroom, I'd be poping up high rises everywhere. Are these luxury units being filled?

My guess is they're targeting Wells Fargo for some of those units where they'd house transferring high level executives on the relocation package. In that instance, you know Wells would negotiate those prices down.

No addition is quite like the Edition, though.

Wells Fargo can keep its signs up near Vikings stadium, for now

Vikings had argued the signs photo-bomb the adjacent U.S. Bank Stadium. Judge Donovan Frank's ruling came Thursday afternoon.

First hearing on SignGate will be 1/15:
