He might have some other people convinced as well? From this site or in the Commercial Real Estate world?

errrr.... yeah, I'm sure no one will mind about this... no credibility lost at all...
"I deeply regret my lack of good judgment in using pseudonyms," Minn said in a statement. "I hope that by acknowledging these facts, I will be able to re-earn the trust of city officials and continue my positive relationship with them."

I totally forgot about that one; really similar. If not Minn, he must have at least been the inspirration

Huh. It would be interesting to find out if any of this sockpuppeting by Minn had the slightest effect against Doran's work. One cynical take is that a former elected official wouldn't have made this effort if they didn't think it would make a difference.

I'm not a legal expert, but if it is someone else, like Minn, I wonder if Christensen would have any legal right against him for identity theft... albeit on the internet.

Anyone want to go in on an investigative HQ and basecamp in Wells? If 35 of us chip in $1000, we can buy this storefront:

I can't picture Steve Minn trying to 'steal' RB's identity - he's busy trying to get some deals closed right now, and I don't see what he'd have to gain from all the posts from June/Ryan/RB. In my experience active developers are much more concerned with the opinions of the immediate neighbors of their development sites than they are with the opinions of folks on websites.

Bizarre that June/DerekM have ditched posting on SSC, but continue to update the fake LinkedIns. Who is the hoaxster trying to hoax at this point? What are the motivations for continuing?

We hope during the summer of 2015 a long list of objectives will be announced, along with specific programs that will be in place to help those in need.
Uh huh.

I know for a fact that Ryan at one point was looking for partners to build affordable housing as part of the Downtown East project (fronting 3rd, I believe). Rick Collins asked me whether the organization I work with would be interested. It's not the kind of thing that organization does. I would expect an outfit like MICAH to be involved in any major faith-based affordable housing effort.

Just to be clear, you're referring to Ryan the shamrock-themed real-estate firm, not Ryan "Big Desk" Nelson, right?
