21C Hotels and Museums' has signed onto the 5th Project pushing it to 40 floors. Construction to begin in 2019 with completion in 2021.

Just an update on The Fifth in Des Moines. Construction officially start on parking garage and finalizing permits for the theater/office portion. The tower part should be in the final stages of securing financing and permits.

Also blackbird has switched sites to the Klad mall and plans to start demolition of the mall later this month and hope to start building their tower in July.

Also something interesting I didn't realize was happening in some redder states, state legislatures banning cities from certain types of upzoning. Again, taking an opposite approach of say, Oregon.
