Thanks for posting all of these pictures! It's a great to get all of these projects documented, and really helps show just how much is going on!

“floating glass” staircase :o Don't people have a natural fear of heights? Also if they allow dogs I wonder how pets would climb those style of stairs! I hope this is not a growing trend! ...could you imagine a 40 floor building with 100% glass staircase! :O

Why, that's downright un-American! ;) I had thought that they were going to call it CP Plaza, which I was thinking was to "hide" that it is a foreign-owned company. Guess not! I like the sound of Canadian Pacific Plaza better than CP Plaza, anyway.
Canada is part of America too.

Just wanted to point out the obvious.

Marquette was closed down this afternoon while a very large crane did something. I assume they were hauling old mechanicals off the roof, but I didn't get a good look.

Hopefully they're not planning on cutting a bunch of holes in the facade for Magic-Pak units to replace the old mechanical units...

I can't wait for the windows to be restored on the second/third floor area. Such an amazing old building!

Yes it is! Such an under-rated project given all the new construction going on. But this building would be a real treat to live in.

I feel like this building, along with Loring Park Office Building, would be great candidates to have some/all of the units marketed as ownership condos, rather than apartments. Both are incredibly prime locations in historic buildings...we're not exactly making more of those.

Yes, I agree with you. And I am wondering if one or the other will be converted to condos in a few years. Same thought I have for 1368 Lasalle.
