Also I've been diving into Great British Railway Journeys lately, I find the episodes to be very relaxing and interesting as a train nerd but also interesting to learn more about Britain. It looks like there are quite a few episodes on Youtube already but they're also pretty easy to find if you know where to look. Here's the intro:
This show is still growing strong. There's also 4 seasons of a Continental series titled Great Continental Railway Journeys, and I just learned there's an American version airing on the BBC right now titled Great American Railroad Journeys. Same formula, same host, just on our side of the pond.

921' is the same height as the tallest building in Dallas, 10 cities would still have taller buildings. I enjoy rumors, I think they're fun to facilitate in my mind. I'd love that, really I would, and maybe Nasa gets to see things, but until the shovels are in the ground in highly skeptical of a building that tall.

Edit* I only read the first page. Omg.

So, for those of you who have been around since the Minnescraper days, has nasa's insider info ever panned out? Even once?

Omg nasa only needed to post once and hilarity ensues. I still have 8 pages to go, I hope there's a plot twist!

"Fun fact. Bank of America tower in Dallas is 921 feet, 72 stories tall. Wasn't June supposedly from Dallas?"

"why not 1300'?"

Would you architects out there consider the Duval project to be modern, but not ultra-modern?

I like the first one a lot... the middle one would be great if it wasn't for the carbuncle growing on the middle of it. Makes me want to pick it off like a scab.

Nope, I agree with you. It's unfortunate for that woman, but, if you're going to build windows or balconies directly on the lot line, you do so understanding that your neighbor might someday build up to his lot line. It's kinda like the windows in the Lumber Exchange Building that are being covered by the AC Marriott. It's too bad for whoever's in those offices, but that's the risk you take.
