And there's no possible way that Bradstreet could be a first floor tenant??http://www.southwestjournal.com/news/de ... reet-site/Sad to hear that Bradstreet Crafthouse is closing. I really liked that place. Both food and drinks were great. I'm curious to know what form it will take at the new airport hotel.

Uptown - LynLake - The Wedge - News & General

Re: Uptown General Topics & Development Map
This concept is so heartfelt and touching and amazing, and the density is great. I hope this passes without contention.
Re: Uptown General Topics & Development Map
This sounds very similar to the Nicollet Square project in Kingfield, which by all accounts has been a great neighbor.

Re: Uptown General Topics & Development Map
This is a slam dunk. Can we get one in the Wedge?
Re: Uptown General Topics & Development Map
But wait, the neighbors have concerns!
Re: Uptown General Topics & Development Map
I hope other developers in the area will be inspired by these folks. This truly is a win-win
Re: Uptown General Topics & Development Map
Anybody know what's going on in the long empty lots across from Fremont on Lake? Some dumpsters, cars/trucks in those lots yesterday and today. You can also see on the Fremont cam:

Just something for the Art Crawl?

Re: Uptown General Topics & Development Map
The guys with vests, the golf carts, and dumpsters are all probably related to the Uptown Art Fair's sanitation wing, especially since none of it was there on Thursday.

Locked article from MSPBJ about two infill developments on vacant lots between Uptown and LynLake:

CPM proposing 70 units around the 400 block of W Lake, Lupe Development Partners pitching 128 affordable units at 510 W Lake

I just copied the one line of text and the addresses.
Re: Uptown General Topics & Development Map
The 400 block of West Lake Street is perhaps a little outside of LynLake, but 510 W Lake Street is less than two blocks from Lyndale. Seems like a natural outward expansion of the node.

Re: Uptown General Topics & Development Map
LynLake branding (logo stamped concrete) extends eastward to Grand Avenue. Pretty hard to argue these sites are not in LynLake when the logo is literally stamped into the adjacent sidewalk. Though due to all of the parking lots, car lots, vacant lots, etc. in the area, it currently does feel like the district terminates immediately at Garfield Ave.
If you want to get super technical, the city's Lyndale-Lake Special Service District actually extends all the way from Dupont to Blaisdell, though that broader definition is not the same thing as the narrower LynLake business district (logos, banners, etc.)

They're referring to the Uptown Pizza neighborhood.

Here are the CotW thingies with renderings:

I am curious why the 510 W Lake development doesn't extend the entire block to Garfield.
