10 Worst Places in Minneapolis

Kind of old but thought this was amusing. http://blogs.citypages.com/dressingroom ... apolis.php

"If Minnesota ever brings back the death penalty, hopefully they will decide to hold all public executions at Sneaky Pete's, as the people in this area are already soulless and dead anyway."

I agree that Sneaky Pete's is a cesspool, but man this guy sounds like a complete douche who never had any friends in high school and college.

Turns out the guy *is* a douche in real life. A mutual friend reposted this article on Facebook this summer, and when I commented that the skyways are great for people who work downtown Minneapolis, the author called me an "Elitist office-dwelling 1%er".

I also pointed out that the photo used in the article was not a real skyway but actually the old mail passageway between SPUD and the Eugene McCarthy Post Office -- in the other downtown! That photo was quietly swapped out...
