[Not sure if this belongs here or in the transportation section.] The bridge deck will be removed and replaced this coming Spring.
Constructed in 1962, the bridge carries about 42,000 vehicles per day and its deck pavement "is nearing the end of its lifecycle,"

Just a new deck, so I'm guessing we won't be seeing the EB aux lane continue to Lexington any time soon, then.

Does it need to? There's already a lane from Snelling past Lexington.

I love how the Snelling exit has already been closed for a week, but not work has started in that time period. They've just increased traffic during the morning and evening commute times on 94 for no reason. Projects like this need to have better planning and an understanding of how lane or exit closures have an impact on tens of thousands of people every day.

The exit is closed for ongoing utility work. It's not detouring you half a mile away and killing puppies for no reason.
