Does anyone know what is going on over at West River Flats beneath the Washington Avenue Bridge? There's a bunch of equipment and a crane and they brought in a bunch of soil and took out the grass. Looks like it might be some sort of regrading but I'm not really sure...

It's very flat right now, I know that much.

I think that I read somewhere that they will be casting the new bridge deck elements for the Franklin Avenue bridge there.

Or maybe a staging area for the bluff stabilization project along West River Parkway?

Yes, they're making bridge panels.
