If approved by the Legislature Walz plans to use the E pull tab funds to pay off the states share of this debt. It will save the state $226 million in interest.
He also is looking to use those funds to reduce the amount the city still owes for the stadium by 60 million. It would reduce the cities obligation by around 40%
