It’s up for comment.

It’s a big document. They really intend to upzone next to the station to medium-to-high density. Page 90 shows twin 20-story towers imagined (there is no proposal yet, obvs.) at the Van White/Olson Memorial south side with overlooking views of the pond.

That'd be a different look. No frontage-road separating the imagined development and Olson Memorial either.

New streets. Putting back a grid.

Shared streets. Ped-only streets. Urban village streets. New parkways.

Those twin towers are from the original Ryan proposal from like 2006, which happens to be very similar to what was built for Wells Fargo.

After reading your post, I noticed just have some more of those towers do look to Wells Fargo. Maybe that's where they got the idea for the Wells Fargo towers, from this previous plan.

Aren't you referring to the Van White Station that's part of the Bassett Creek Valley Master Plan, which is the station down on SWLRT now named Bassett Creek Valley Station? This is for the Blue Line extension and up along Olson Memorial Highway, which I don't believe ever had this much detail for future land use/zoning/street grid put forward. The BCVMP only extended as far up as just beyond Glenwood.

The thing I dislike most about this plan is how many times they have to clarify that anything involving the Impound Lot is "long term, if it moves." As long as it's there, it's going to depress the area.
