Mobile Version?
This might be a tall order, but mobile friendly forums would be great. I don't know how hard it is to add that feature though. Am I the only one that sees this as a valuable addition?

Re: Mobile Version?
This would be a huge plus for me. I would visit the site often when I'm on the bus if there was a mobile version that was very easy to use.

Added to the list, I'll get working on it.This would be a huge plus for me. I would visit the site often when I'm on the bus if there was a mobile version that was very easy to use.
Re: Mobile Version?
Took the site down for a bit, but we should have both a working mobile theme and autodetect so mobile phones will default to the mobile theme while computers will not. Let me know if there are any problems. When you test it out add a post to this thread and let me know whether it works for you. Thanks!

Re: Mobile Version?
Love the mobile theme. Easy both to read and post from my phone. Thanks for not only making this new site, but doing it right too.
Edit: to add that this was posted and edited (with ease) from the mobile site on my phone.

Good to hear! Yeah auto detect code was messy but it's working well so far.

Re: Mobile Version?
Is there a way to 'mark all forums read' in the mobile version?
Q. What, what? A. In da butt.
Re: Mobile Version?
From the index page, below "Forum Administration" there should be an option to do this. Right above where it says "Full Version"Is there a way to 'mark all forums read' in the mobile version?

FWIW, I crawled and archived the site during the last couple days it was up. I don't have a place to put it or anything, but I have it.
Re: Mobile Version?
Would it be possible for the mobile site to get those little orange icons next to new posts in threads? It's just a minor annoyance, but when I click on the "New Post" link, it tends to take me a while to figure out which entries I have and haven't read yet.

Re: Mobile Version?
It should take you directly to the first unread post. At least it does for me. Much easier than looking for the first post with the orange flag. I was actually hoping the full/desktop site would get a "new posts" link that does that.Would it be possible for the mobile site to get those little orange icons next to new posts in threads? Re: Mobile Version?
It's there on the desktop version, but hiding in plain sight -- you have to click the orange link icon just to the left of the thread title. If you mouse over it, there should be a popup saying "View first unread post".

Re: Mobile Version?
I don't know if anyone else is having this issue with the mobile site, but I tend to only get the first or last page of a thread no matter whether I click on the title or page numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, etc.
I get the first page if phpBB says I've read everything in the thread, and (usually) the last page when I'm clicking on a thread that has new posts on it.
On individual thread pages, I don't see any method for navigating to the previous/next pages. I've tried swiping side-to-side, but that doesn't do anything either.

Click the pound sign to change pages.
Re: Mobile Version?
You guys want to test this and let me know if this works? If not...let me know and I'll see how deep into the coding I can get to fix it.Click the pound sign to change pages.
I like the swipe idea...but definitely don't have the coding ability to do this.

Works for meClick the pound sign to change pages.
Re: Mobile Version?
Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. If it doesn't, a refresh or two will fix it for me.
