Re: U.S. Bank Stadium Construction Updates
Some decent progress is being made. They have put some trees in on the southeast side of the stadium and from that angle, you'd swear the stadium was almost done if you didn't know better. They put the brackets up for branding on the north side of the stadium so we will likely see the logo go up on that side soon. Also, today they starting enclosing one of the west side walls. Nice to see that side will hopefully start to close up. It's been a gaping hole for so long compared to progress made on east side of the stadium.

Quick question:
When will the last Green roof support be taken down?

Re: U.S. Bank Stadium Construction Updates
I thought they all were supposed to be removed over the summer. The last support doesn't appear to actually be supporting anything right now. Maybe they keep it there while they are still working on the exterior in case the truss starts to drop too much?Quick question:
When will the last Green roof support be taken down?
Re: U.S. Bank Stadium Construction Updates
That last green support will probably be there until the roof is enclosed. There is an orange elevator attached to it which they will need until they're done... Me thinks anyway.

Re: U.S. Bank Stadium Construction Updates
The stadium was "decentered" in July, meaning that the green supports were no longer supporting the weight of the roof. If you look closely, you will see that the green support is still supporting the construction elevator. When the elevator is no longer necessary, shortly after it's taken down, the green supports will come down - - - me thinks!
Interesting factoid, the green supports were purpose build to support the stadium roof. Coming down, they had to support so much weight that the metal fatigue makes them unusable for another purpose and can only be sold for scrap.

Does it look to anyone else like they're installing the giant doors on the downtown facing side of the stadium?

I didn't notice that, but it sure looks like they're getting ready to stencil the US Bank badge onto the northside roof.
Re: U.S. Bank Stadium Construction Updates
I saw somewhere, I think Twitter, that they are indeed adding the roof logo now.

Yes, and if you look at snaps of the roof, you will see that they finally put the last steel roof supports to the ETFE portion of the roof. I know the official "topping off" was a few weeks ago, but it was not until today that the final grid section was closed off.

They have finished the 'Ban-' part of the ceiling sign. There is a single 'b' seen on the north side.

Wow, these lights seem really amazing, and made in the US cool story.

I've been working on a time-lapse video as well. Still working on the kinks. Had been debating posting it somewhere...

Re: U.S. Bank Stadium Construction Updates
If you are referring to the blue sheeting that seems taped together over the ground under the main concourse on the west end, it is a vapor barrier that is placed between the ground and concrete (once poured). If there is wiring and thin rebar popping out of the blue barrier, and the imaging isn't good enough to tell, they will eventually pour the surface concrete.
While it is possible that they will just let the barrier remain as a top cover, it is more likely that once the entire incline area is sealed and taped off, there will come a Saturday when the mixers come and pour the entire area. If you look, there are still areas that are not covered and taped off and there is still dirt that is bermed up against the retaining wall to allow for tracked vehicles to traverse the incline. It also looks like a long flight of stairs along with a concrete squared opening that looks like a large opening - a pit. (What is it for?)
What I don't understand is why they didn't just finish off that area under the main concourse and use it for storage, etc seeing as they had to back fill it with dirt after the area was unobstructed.
